Adrie de Vries and Getaway won the centerpiece of German racing, the internationally highly regarded Grosser Mercedes-Benz Preis von Baden, ahead of English raiders Eastern Anthem and Youmzain. Derbywinner Wiener Walzer finished fourth in front of more than 20.000 spectators.
