Premio Loco wins Darley Oettingen-Rennen
01.09.2009

George Baker had two reasons to celebrate: In easy stile he won the main race on day three at Baden-Baden on Premio Loco on his 27th birthday. "It was a very pleasant experience", Baker said about his first Group win. "Its the icing of the cake on a very good season with 40 wins in England so far". The five year old Premio Loco took the Darley Oettingen-Rennen (Gr.II, 1.600m, 65.000 Euro) ahead of Koenig Concorde and Earl of Fire. Trainer Christian Wall said: "He has won some good Listed races before and we always planned to go abroad. Unfortunately two of the best horses - Wiesenpfad and Sehrezad - were non-runners, otherwise it would have been a more interesting race.

The Kronimus-Rennen (Listed, 20.000, 1.600m) for two year old was won by Diatribe ahead of Aslana and Murcielago. Filip Minarik was on board the Tertullian filly.
